NotebookLM puts a small "NotebookLM" mark in the bottom-right corner of generated slides, infographics and videos. Drop the file here (.pptx, .pdf, .png, .jpg or .mp4) and keep "NotebookLM" selected: the tool finds the pixels of the mark inside that corner, rebuilds them from the background around it, and gives you the same file type back. It runs in your browser, so nothing leaves your device.
Opening and previewing is free; a download counts as one export. Check that nothing is uploaded
Your file in, a clean corner out
Choose a watermark type on the left and the box moves on this sample slide.

Every NotebookLM output, one tool
| NotebookLM output | Download | How the mark is cleaned |
|---|---|---|
| Slide Deck | .pptx or .pdf | Each slide is mostly a full-slide picture, so the corner is cleaned inside every picture (PPT guide, PDF guide). |
| Infographic | .png | The box is cleaned in the image; every pixel outside the mark stays the original. |
| Video Overview | .mp4 | The mark is located from several frames, then rebuilt on every frame; the audio is copied unchanged (video guide). |
How the corner is rebuilt, not blurred
NotebookLM slides almost always have a calm margin in the bottom-right: a flat colour, a soft gradient or a card edge. The engine fits a smooth model of that background from a ring of pixels around the box, marks only the pixels inside that clearly differ from it (the letters and icon of the watermark), and fills those from the nearest clean pixels on all four sides. On flat and gradient backgrounds the result matches the true background to within a few colour levels, which our tests check on every build.
Blur or "content-aware" smudging spreads the mark into a grey patch. Rebuilding only the mark pixels keeps the rest of the corner, including any text nearby, exactly as it was.
Steps
- Download the Slide Deck, Infographic or Video Overview from NotebookLM.
- Drop it into the box above. Opening is free and nothing is counted.
- Check the preview: the box sits on the mark, a dashed outline shows the pixels that will be rebuilt, and the enlarged corner shows the result. Drag the box if your mark is somewhere else.
- Press Remove watermark and download the clean file.
Can NotebookLM turn the watermark off?
On some plans, yes. Google’s plan table lists watermark removal for Pro and Ultra, not for the standard or Plus tiers, through a "Visible watermarking" switch in the profile menu, and says the visible watermark is always applied in India, South Korea and Vietnam (NotebookLM help). The switch only affects new outputs. For files you already downloaded, or on a plan without the switch, this tool cleans the corner. Google’s help pages also refer to the product as Gemini Notebook.
An invisible SynthID watermark can also be embedded in generated images and videos. It is not visible, and this tool does not touch it.
Questions
Where is the NotebookLM watermark?
In the bottom-right corner, roughly 82–99% across and 91–99% down a 16:9 slide. The NotebookLM preset covers that zone and tightens to the mark automatically.
Does it work on NotebookLM infographics?
Yes. Download the infographic as PNG and drop it in. Tall infographics work too: drag the box to wherever the mark is.
Will the text on my slide be affected?
Only pixels inside the box that stand out from the background are rebuilt. Keep the box on the empty margin around the mark and nothing else changes.
Is my file uploaded?
No. PPTX, PDF, images and videos are all processed in your browser tab. The server only counts free exports. How to check.
Is this an official NotebookLM tool?
No. Slide Watermark Remover is an independent browser tool and is not affiliated with Google LLC. You are responsible for following the terms of your own plan.
Does it remove SynthID?
No. SynthID is an invisible watermark spread through the content. This tool only removes the visible corner mark.
